Emily Addonizo is an agriculture and environmental sciences specialist with 10+ years of experience in rural development, food security, and resilience of vulnerable populations in East Africa. Emily’s profound interest in environmental and rural development issues brought her to be highly involved in international cooperation focusing on food security, climate change adaptation of vulnerable populations, rural livelihoods, agriculture (incl. climate-smart agriculture, Agroforestry) and food systems.
Emily holds an MSC in Agriculture Biotechnology and a PgC in Environmental Management with S.O.A.S. and has extensive experience of working with international organizations and United Nations agencies as a consultant and technical advisor for coordination, projects, programs & grant management, and strategy development.
Since 2020, Emily is a member of the Environomica Consulting network lending her expertise to organizations looking to create sustainable change, especially in the agriculture and environmental sectors in Sub-saharan Africa.
